Only thing that wasn’t replaced of my former, rusted out, rattling exhaust is the original manifold, which is really a tubular stainless steel header in disguise (no joke, look at my !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ).

After 1,000 miles on the new system, here’s how it sounds!

Perhaps the stainless is why it was rusted?

Well I’m not sure about that, but the exhaust I replaced was not stainless steel. It rusted because it was it wasn’t stainless steel (and because of Ohio). What I replaced it with is stainless, but it isn’t the overly polished, shinny stainless steel... It’s just really really good quality stainless.

Mines a custom stock diameter straight pipe from the stock header and downpipe to a straight thru Vibrant performance muffler

Nice haven't heard of vibrant. Mine is a custom system too, by Jason at enthuzacar. He does really great work.
